
Ordering Info & Refund Policy

Terms:
Payment must accompany orders. Thirty (30) days credit may be granted to clients with an established credit account. Please note that one per cent (1%) interest per month will be billed to all overdue credit accounts.
Price List:
Prices in our price list are based on information available at the time of publication. However, due to circumstances beyond our control, prices, sizes, and availability are subject to change without notice. Taxes are extra where applicable.
Sales Tax:
Sales tax must be charged (Ontario residents only) unless a P.S.T. exemption certificate is produced. G.S.T is applicable to all sales and delivery charges (Canadian residents only). H.S.T. is charged in applicable provinces. Effective July 1, 2010 in Ontario an H.S.T. replaces the P.S.T. and G.S.T.
Placing Your Order:
Orders are booked with the understanding that, in the event crop losses, or due to lack of stock for other reasons, they may be rendered void.
We offer 3 convenient ways to place an order:
1. Online order entry at www.botanybayplants.com
2. Download our order form and return to our office by fax, or scan your completed email to info@botanybayplants.com.
3. Call our office at (519) 780-1599 to have one of our customer service staff assist you.
Picking Your Order:
We encourage customers to visit the nursery. Calling or e-mailing ahead allows us to plan for your visit.
Wholesale customers may visit, pick orders, and/or request pick-up, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m.
to 5:00 p.m. Please report to the office upon arrival. While we try to accommodate same or next day orders,
we require two or three (2-3) days notice to ensure your order is ready.
Holding Policy:
Your selected nursery stock can be held for future pick-up or delivery with a twenty per cent (20%) deposit, or for twenty-four (24) hours without deposit. Please note that orders can only be held for a maximum of one (1) week, and the twenty per cent (20%) deposit fee is non-refundable.
Filling Your Order:
Upon receipt of your order, we will issue you a confirmation report. Each potted plant container in your order is affixed with a customized weatherproof reference label.
Pick-up Schedule:
• Orders can be picked up by appointment only.
• Arrangements can be made to drop off trailers overnight to have orders loaded on and picked up the next day. A surcharge will be applied to orders placed without at least two (2) days notice.
Delivery of Your Order:
All plants are sold F.O.B. Moffat, Ontario. However, we will provide delivery service on a fee basis. We have
a graduated scale for delivery charges based on your purchase order that accounts for the delivery distance.
For example, we generally tell our clients to budget 8-10% of their total purchase price for local deliveries.
- There is a minimum delivery charge of $100.00
- Please check your order upon arrival. No claims for rejections or deficiencies will be entertained unless made within five (5) days of arrival of goods. All stock travels at risk of the buyer, thus claims must be made immediately to the transportation company.
- If an additional person is required for delivery a surcharge will apply.
- Due to rising fuel costs, a fuel surcharge may be included in a delivery charge at any time without notice.
- Disposable packing material will be charged for, though only to cover their cost. Please note that boxes are not returnable.
- Again, while we try to accommodate next day orders, three (3) days notice is required for any delivery service.
Refund & Return Policy
Live plants are only returnable for a plant material credit. NO CASH REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.
Live plants can be returned for exchange or plant material credit WITHIN ONE WEEK after the pick-up/delivery date.
Plants being returned must be in their original container and accompanied by the original invoice.
Sales Events
Any special sales events are for a limited time only and we regret that no discounts can be given before or retroactively after the sale. No rain checks available. There is no return on sale items.
